1966 Schwinn Starlett III 2-Speed Bendix Kick Back Deciding to sell this bike was tough. With the exception of a little bubbling of paint on the inside of the left fork, this Schwinn is perfect. It's got all of the options that make this Bicycle the best Chicago had to offer in 1966. Incredible radiant Coppertone paint, 2-Speed Bendix Kick Back hub, tank with horn, bow pedals, perfect fenders with nice stays, Crash Bar Schwinn Seat with Chrome Beehive springs, a perfect front Schwinn rack, and a new Reproduction Schwinn Westwind Brick Tread tires. This is truly an incredible example of Classic Chicago Iron. Remember, t's nothing quite like a Chicago Schwinn. Serial # MB59XXX Which translates to December, 1966. Paint is completely original, with hardly any scratches and no fading. Slight surface flaw on the inside of the fork is the only paint flaw to mention, and is invisible unless you look for it. Chain Guard is in excellent condition, Excellent original screen with very few scratches Chrome Fenders are in Outstanding Condition. 9.5+ out of 10 Seat is the Premium, Schwinn Crash Bar with Chrome Spring unit in excellent condition, top and bottom.
