You are bidding on an Antique Mission Oak Library Hall Foyer Journeys Table. This piece was BEAUTIFULLY made and a RARE FIND due to its size, age and beauty. It dates back to Turn of the Century possibly late 19th Century American made. We believe this can very well be an original stickley but please make your own determination. It is numbered 21 which is engraved in the wood and referenced in the photos.It was made of THE HIGHEST quality with the Copper pull handles which are original to the piece. We strongly believe this is Stickley because we do know its manufactured by a company when t is the Serial No engraved in the wood on the piece itself and under the drawer so this was not a bench made piece and the only company that had any patentthat we know of wit this design is Stickley itself but please make your own determination. It is finished on ALL of its sides so it can be placed anyw in a room and sits on beautifully tapered and splayed feet on a trestle designed base. ALL the sides have mortise and tenon construction with pegged dowels at the corners which is also part of the Stickley design that they are famous for. The cross stretchers are nicely done with shelving and come out at each end with doweled fronts and beautifully designed. A piece like this is very HARD to find on the secondary market. The top of the piece is all planked with its naturally figured Oak wood grain pattern as you can see in the pictures below. This piece was VERY WELL made with quality that surpasses anything made today and is all wood construction but Please understand that this is several years old so it may have some minor imperfections on it but overall its in excellent shape. The piece measures approx 36 inches wide, 27 1/2 inches high and approx 24 inches deep.
