Up for your bidding are 3 cups and 3 saucers from the Blue Ridge, Southern Potteries, Inc. These are Hand Painted Underglaze and are the Yellow Nocturne pattern. At first I thought it was the Daisy, but then was told different. It is the Colonial Shape. I think they were probably made late 40's or early 50's, as Southern Potteries closed its doors in 1957.The cups are 3 3/4" across the top and the saucers are 5 3/4" across the saucer. They are in very nice condition. No chips or cracks. Some of this pattern I have has trademark on the bottom and some do not. The ones that do say Blue Ridge, Hand Painted, Underglaze, Southern Potteries, Inc. Made in USA 10J. These were hand-painted by the women who lived in the Erwin, Tennessee area w the pottery shop was located, so each one is just a little different than the other. These items have a thin yellow line around the edge of them. They are yellow flowers with brown center and brown stems, dark green leaves and have a bright shine to the glaze.Buyer to pay 10.00 for shipping. Thanks for looking and have a nice day.
