Antique Quilt - Up for auction is a large old hand stitched quilt or coverlet from a Boston estate. It meaures 66" X 86". It is a beige and cream background with shades of cream, beige, a little red and tiny bit of blue in a paisley type pattern. It is finished with a border around. The fabric seems strong. The reverse is a solid beige fabric. There appears to be no major staining on the front, a couple of little spots on the reverse. I found only one tiny tear on the front that can easily be mended (about 1/4"). All in all, this seems to be in very good condition. It could use a good cleaning and freshening up by someone who knows how to launder old quilts. Please feel free to email with questions. Payment must be made within 7 days.
