HP.PRIMITIVE.WALL BASKET.SALTBOX FARM.PUMPKIN.FALL.RJPE DESCRIPTION This Wall Basket was already painted Tan when I found it. I added the black specks and painted the lid. The basket does have a flaw and that was taken in consideration when pricing. On the top right corner , when the band was nailed on it has cracked the band in two areas...it does not affect the stability of the piece. The wood lid is hinged onto the basket by a leather tab. The lid was sprayed Colonial Black and I based an oval in Antq Ivory. I painted a White Saltbox house and old Barn. T are Cornstalks, pumpkins and Sheep. Inside the lid I painted an old Wagon loaded with Pumpkins. The lid was antiqued and sealed. The Basket is 10" tall excluding the handle...overall 14" tall. 5" across the front and the sides are 4 3/4". A unique one of a kind folk art piece to store candles, extra bath items, tax receipts and etc. We have added something new....just type RJPE into the search box and you will be able to see both Raggedy Jan and Primitive Ewe's current auctions!
