Nan "Nanny" Britton 1896-1991 Lot consists of an approximately 2x5 clipped signature. Britton was associated with the presidency of Warren Harding. Apparently, Britton was obsessed with Warren Harding (a friend of her father) from early childhood on. After Harding's death Britton wrote a book claiming to be the first mistress of President harding and that Harding was the father of her daughter, Elizabeth Ann. I have no idea of any of her tale was ever proved but the book does make for some interesting reading.
