4 ORIGINAL PRESS PHOTOS W C FIELDS w SON CLAUDE JR BABE LONDON BABY LEROY ETC Oldest is dated 1935 with Baby Leroy and Alison Skipworth, is a pixeled print, there's a gorgeous small print dated 1957 showing Fields and London, there's a print from 1940 involving fight over the estate, Measures about 7x9, a 1973 laser print of Fields holding Junior. We have been given another great collectionof about 500 original vintage and true antique sports and Hollywood photographs on consignment. The sports matter is mostly baseball with some boxing as well as other sports thrown in. These date from the 1920s through the 1960s. Most are true 1st generation press photographs, done from the original negative on the same day photo was taken, superb clarity, or gorgeous 1st generation publicity shots with superb clarity and focus. Most have captions attached reverse, pretty much all have time and date the photos were filed by the newspaper. Condition varies, some are sharp and clean,some show some amount of wear,majority are very sharp and clean. In addition, there are more candid snapshots of ballplayers and stadiumsincluding cabinet photographsgoing back to the 1890s.
