Original 8x9.75-inch black-and-white, glossy publicity photo / movie still was produced to promote the 1925 MGM silent comedy / romance film, A SLAVE OF FASHION, which starred Norma Shearer, Lew Cody, William Haines, Mary Carr, James Corrigan, Vivia Ogden, Miss DuPont, Estelle Clark, Sidney Bracey and Joan Crawford. The film was directed by Hobart Henley. This is an original studio-issued still -- NOT a copy or reproduction. The photo features a great shot of Norma Shearer kneeling beside her on-screen parents -- Mary Carr and James Corrigan. Overall condition: Solid VG..... It appears that a quarter-inch may have been trimmed from the right side border -- but this flaw does not affect the attractive image area. The still also has a repaired 1-inch tear to the right of the lower left corner, a small bend at the upper left corner, mild wear along the right edge, plus several light surface creases -- mainly near the lower right corner. However, most of these flaws do not greatly detract from the attractive main image area, and otherwise, the photo is clean and bright. We strive to grade all items accurately and in addition, give detailed descriptions of all major flaws. Our grades of condition are as follows:NEAR MINT: Unused condition. This photo has little or no signs of handling, with sharp edges and a bright image.....EXCELLENT: read more
