The re have been 27 changes made to the Union Pacific logo identity since the mountain elk logo was first used to identify the fledgling "Union Pacific Rail Road Company" in 1868. Since 1887 t have been eleven different shield designs. This is the version adopted in 1969. Now you can have this beautiful logo on an orange 2 ft X 3 ft carpet with a non-skid rubber backing to display with pride in your home as a floor mat, a wall hanging or even a bath mat.
