For Sale is an Antique Empire Butler's Desk/Chest of Drawers from the mid 1800s. It is flame mahogany veneer on the exterior and the top drawer opens out to a desk with maple on the inside. The desk has 6 small drawers, 2 vertical drawers on each side and letter storage shelves. The writing surface is green felt. There are 3 larger/deep drawers underneath the desk and they all slide with ease. Everything is original on it. The flame mahogany wood has a shiny sheen to it and it has been sealed at some point, but not by us. This dresser/desk is beautiful and useful. Like many antiques from the 1800s, there are some imperfections. There are some missing pieces of veneer which are shown in the last picture and just a bit of wear on the top of the dresser and the top drawer. It has NOT been professionally restored by us so we are selling it in "AS IS" condition.***THERE IS NO EXACT SHIPPING AMOUNT.
