KING KONG re-release US 1 sheet 1968 Description Original theatrical US one sheet (27" x 42") movie poster for the 1968 Janus Films re-release of the 1933 King Kong . This was the first time since 1933 that the original uncut version of the film was released with a few violent scenes that were edited out during its initial run. Cartoon version of Kong holding Ann, who seems to be topless! Originally folded. Poster is in C7 condition with a 3" split at the top center edge fold. Minor surface abrasion in the shadows under the word "Kong". This poster has a snipe label attached showing the "G" rating. Great oddball item for King Kong fans! --Ships rolled in a sturdy tube.
